Help with signing in

Passkeys, explained

The easiest and safest way to sign in to PropertyManagement.do, in plain words.

Three steps, and you’re in

  1. Choose “Sign in with a passkey”.
  2. Use your fingerprint, your face or your screen lock.
  3. You’re in. Nothing to type, nothing to remember.

What is a passkey?

A passkey replaces passwords. You sign in with your fingerprint, your face or your screen lock, just like unlocking your phone.

Nothing to remember, nothing to type. A passkey only works on propertymanagement.do, so a fake website can’t steal it.

PropertyManagement.do never sees your fingerprint, face or PIN

They never leave your device. It only tells PropertyManagement.do that it’s really you.

Where your passkeys are kept

Your passkeys are kept safely in your device’s password manager and copied to your other devices:

  • iPhone, iPad and Mac: iCloud Keychain
  • Android phones and Chrome: Google Password Manager
  • Windows computers: Windows Hello (and your Microsoft account)

Signing in on a computer with your phone

On a computer, choose “Sign in with a passkey”, then “Use a phone or tablet”. Scan the QR code with your phone and confirm there.

This needs Bluetooth on both the computer and the phone. No Bluetooth? The email code always works.

If you lose your phone

Nobody can use your passkey without your fingerprint, face or PIN. Sign in on another device with the email code and remove the lost device under “How you sign in”.

Synced passkeys come back on your new phone when you sign in to your Apple, Google or Microsoft account.

On a shared or public computer

Tick “This is a shared or public computer” when you sign in: we sign you out sooner and never save a passkey there. Or sign in with your own phone.

Stay safe from scams

We never call, text or email you to ask for a sign-in code. Only type a code on propertymanagement.do, on a page you opened yourself.

Your account is as safe as your email inbox, because the email code can always sign you in. Protect your email well, and read our security emails: we tell you about every new sign-in and every change.

Signed up with Facebook?

Remove the Facebook connection at any time under “How you sign in”, or in Facebook’s settings under Apps and Websites. Your PropertyManagement.do account stays.
